With Online Feldenkrais classes the geographical location is no longer an obstacle. You can join us from every corner of the UK, the EU or even world wide. Just mind the time zones.

No need to rush out after work or in the evenings to drive the additional 10-20 miles to the village hall. No extra costs for parking, petrol or public transportation.

Simply switch on your internet device, create a bit of space around you and you are good to go.

There are actually a few of my students which are joining two or even more classes per week. They are amazed about the positive effects on many different aspects of their lives.

Are you someone with a very irregular work life?

No worries. Thanks to my course structure I offer you the option to come to another class of your course in case you can’t make it one week to your regular class date.

Plan ahead, let me know and log in into on of the other classes that week instead.

These are your options to create a better life for yourself

Each class is complete in itself.

They are about 50-60 minutes long and I invite you to share your discoveries in our little social afterwards. That gives the opportunity to ponder about the class and to ask questions. Hearing the experiences of others helps you to process your own.

Whatever theme the courses focus on, the speciality of Feldenkrais is that it is including the whole body and mind.

Working on the shoulders and neck area can lead to release of lower back pain and working on your feet might result in a softer neck and better balance.

Nevertheless I have chosen themes for the courses to support a specific outcome and to make it easier for you to relate to this body-mind-work.

Move Better with Feldenkrais

When joining Move Better with Feldenkrais you will experience the classic Awareness Through Movement (ATM) class. You will be guided through movement explorations verbally in which you will work in different orientations on the floor. This includes lying on the back, on the front or on one side as well as sitting on the floor and kneeling.

In general ATM classes are non-strenuous and suitable for all ages but you should be able to get up and down to the floor comfortably to experience the full benefit.

Stay Mobile with Feldenkrais

The Stay Mobile with Feldenkrais course is a seated version of the classical form of an Awareness Through Movement class. With verbal instructions I will guide you through unusual movement patterns in sitting (on a chair or stool) or in standing.

These lessons are a good start into the Feldenkrais work. They are non-strenuous and suitable for all ages especially when you aren’t comfortable with working on the floor yet.

Join us for one or all of these classes from the safety of your own home. For the highest benefit I recommend taking the full course. If you prefer a more flexible approach the ATM classes are available as drop-in classes too.

Beweglich bleiben mit Feldenkrais

Eine Feldenkrais Gruppestunde im Sitzen. Ein sanfter Weg in die Feldenkrais Method.

Die Beweglich bleiben mit Feldenkrais Online Kurse sind hervorragend geeignet für Personen mit oder ohne Feldenkrais Erfahrung sowie mit oder ohne eingeschränkter Beweglichkeit. Neugier genügt.

Wir arbeiten im Sitzen auf einem stabilen Stuhl. Die Uebungen in diesen Stunden sind speziell darauf ausgerichtet Eure Beweglichkeit zu verbessern und Spannungen zu lösen.

Feldenkrais Course Program 2020/2020

All online Feldenkrais classes are grouped into 6 week courses unless stated differently.

All courses start in the same calendar week (week 43 & 49).

Each of the courses will run three times a week:

  • Move Better with Feldenkrais on Tuesdays, Thursdays & Sundays.
  • Stay Mobile with Feldenkrais on Tuesday. Wednesdays & Fridays.

Each of the GERMAN courses will run once a week:

  • Beweglich bleiben mit Feldenkrais on Wednesdays.
  • Genussvoller Bewegen mit Feldenkrais on Fridays.

In 2020: At the end of each course you will get the recordings of your course as a download. (value: 60 GBP | 66 EUR).

Helpful tips to get started on Zoom

Zoom has been proven to be a brilliant platform on which I am able to bring The Feldenkrais Method to you. It not only allows me to watch you carefully during the class it also offers several ways of how we can interact with each other. All knowing we are safe but not alone.

Many of my students have had their first encounter with Zoom when joining one of my online Feldenkrais classes. Once you have tried it you’ll see it becomes easier and opens doors to other encounters.

Using Zoom is totally free for you. Having a personal Zoom account (FREE) can help you in the daily use of the program but is not obligatory.

Try out Zoom here zoom.us/test/. Their help pages make the setting up process easy. Anyway I recommend to read through my blog post: How to best set up for online exercise classes.

The set up with a camera allows me to observe your movements and to guide you safely through gentle exercises. Verbal feedback supports the process. Thanks to the internet and the functionality of Zoom I am able to offer you the audio recordings of the group classes as an extra bonus. Plus the geographical location is no longer an obstacle!
